Records of students are considered to be confidential. They can be reviewed only by the parent/guardian or their designee. The Principal or District designee will be present to aid in the interpretation or explanation of such records.
Teachers and administrators may review children’s records found in the cumulative folder. Cumulative folders are transferred with the student to the receiving school. To review exceptional educational need student records, the teacher must sign the “Review of Records” sheet for that purpose.
Records for parents/guardians will be duplicated at no charge as per State guidelines. The District will not charge a fee for search or retrieval of information for parents.
