Monies collected by District employees and by students will be handled with good and prudent business procedures by the Business Manager or designee. All monies collected shall be receipted, accounted for, and directed without delay for timely deposit in the District Depository. All such monies, receipts, and expenditures shall be recorded through designated District accounts unless such funds are being temporarily secured for a third party organization (e.g. PTO etc.). Money not collected in accordance with this policy shall be the responsibility of the individual who is in charge of collecting said funds.
